Wednesday Woes

Apparently my sweet Honda, Merle (short for Merlot, his dazzling deep purple color), needs a new transmission.
Ouch.
The good news is that it's not an immediate, must-fix-today kind of problem. They said ol' Merle could last a while on his current failing transmission, but it's not recommended. Although, with 183K miles on him, I'm not sure if Merle will get a 1600$ fix, or if I'll look for a new used car.
